Miriam Gray, Founder
Ms. Miriam Gray currently serves as an Instructor at Thee Jackson State University. She credits her upbringing in Fayette, Mississippi and teaching experience in the Jackson Public Schools District as catalysts for her commitment to education and challenging structural inequalities.
Miriam's background and partnerships with local community leaders, have afforded her the opportunity to provide students an enriching learning environment. It has also afforded her the opportunity to work with and serve fellow educators beyond the classroom in order to foster healthy work environments.
Throughout Miriam's time in education, she has coordinated resource workshops for students, parents, and teachers, while furthering her experience and education. She also volunteered and trained tirelessly with the Jackson Human Rights Institute for four years.
Miriam now continues in the spirit of her previous work and service.
She is excited and grateful to see Servant Leaders Institute surpass expectations.
